Apostle Leviticus Moore Jr
Is the Senior Pastor of Glorious Deliverance Family Worship Center, Inc. He was born in Douglas, Georgia. He is the son of the Late Mr. Leviticus Moore Sr. and the late, Mrs. Annie Laura Moore. He graduated from Coffee County High School and later join the Navy. Through a praying mother and aunt he made it through the service in good health. Later returning home to Douglas, he met Sis Cynthia Wilkerson and they were joined in Holy Matrimony.
In the year of 1984, the Lord dealt with Pastor Moore in a most powerful, convicting way to leave his job of 17 years and to go into the Ministry full time because God had another plan for his life. After months of struggling with the decision, he finally said “YES” and eternal YES. After evangelizing for about three years, God spoke to him again saying I have sought for a man that should make up the hedge and stand in the gap before me for the land that I should not destroy it.
After inquiring of God where he should go, God led him to Fitzgerald, Georgia, saying that I have many souls that I must lead out of bondage. Being moved by the Lord, God led him to an old Laundromat. Pastor Moore renovated the Laundromat that once was for washing clothes to washing souls. He resided there for about 7 years, then the Lord spoke and said build me a house. Through favor, the church was able to purchase 5 acres of land and one year later a beautiful edifice was erected, which we are now occupying. Through diligent management and faithful members the church was paid off in 5 years.
